Why must Ci75m Notebook Kensington Wireless
Pros: Smooth motion response, glides well on surfaces, responds well on any hard, opaque surface; comfortable rubber grip.
Cons: I wish the wireless signal was stronger for longer distances (i.e. presentations)
Summary: Good mouse overall. I personally wish it wasn’t quite so flat so more than just my finger tips would touch it but maybe that’s just me. I noticed an interesting problem with it, which may again only bother me. The optical sensor is located very near the front of the mouse. I’ve noticed that I turn my wrist counter-clockwise slightly when moving the mouse to the right, which of course causes the sensor to move to the left with respect to the center of the mouse. So there are actually times when the rotation of my wrist essentially “cancels” the movement of my hand and the mouse just vibrates in one spot on the screen instead of moving. Having looked at other mice I’ve noticed that the sensors are almost always located close to the exact center.
Having said that it’s a very minor problem. I’m not going to get rid of the mouse as it’s performance is great otherwise – it can be used on any hard surface (even a solid white sheet of paper!) and glides very smoothly and effortlessly. It’s flat profile let’s you put it just about anywhere, making it very mobile.
I’d recommend this product. Three stars simply because I’m neither impressed nor disappointed – it gets the job done as it should.

Microsoft Mouse Mobile Wireless and me
Ordered this mouse from amazon as a replacement to a Logitech corded laser mouse that I dropped on a tile floor and damaged. 1st Microsoft mouse product arrived in retail package DOA. The receiver would not even recognize the mouse. Tried different batteries (1 is supplied). Tried to change the channel on the mouse thinking perhaps there was interference. Tried to reset the mouse and USB receiver. Tried to position the mouse at all different distances and planes to the receiver. No luck. The mouse was simply DEAD. Wasted a full hour of my life trying to get a mouse to simply recognize the signal and function. It is rather difficult to believe that there would be quality control problems in this day and age on a MOUSE.
After the initial disappointment I decide to go through the refund process with Amazon and get a replacement of the same product. I figured it was just a defective product the first go around. Amazon sends the replacement promptly/. Upon initial use the replacement mouse recognizes the signal, and seems to perform just fine. All seems well. But wait!!! On the 2nd day (perhaps 3 hours of use total) the mouse cursor starts to “lag” on my screen. I put in fresh batteries and it does not improve. I then download latest drivers for the mouse and change the cursor settings all to “fast” and play with the various movement settings. Guess what, the problem is with the hardware. Absolutely abysmal product. I would equate the cursor performance to that of a filthy “ball” mouse where it doesn’t react at first, then “snaps” across the screen beyond where you are trying to go. Trying to use this mouse for even the most basic computing functions will aggravate you unless you are either incredibly patient, or use the mouse so little that you might not know any better vs. a mouse that actually works. This is an optical wireless, the issues are obviously between the receiver and the mouse. Something has just gone wrong with this model (or at least this production run,

Soundstorm Wireless Headphones SHP forever
Inspirational and very informative with lots of rude awakenings. Kathryn is a wonderful writer and she has a great command for the English language. It was superb and I just couldn’t put the book down. I am looking to her next novel. Our Atlanta book club is currently reading the book. And we all love it!

TRENDnet Wireless Mbps 300 forever
I am an IT personnel in a small company. Due to weak signal in my two story house, I upgraded to Wireless N. The range has been improved over Wireless G.
However, this wireless router shows its weakness when used for P2P file sharing. At about 50 connections, the router CPU overheats and it stops working. It works again when powered off and let cooled for 5 minutes. I added stick-on heat sink and even a small fan to address this overheat issue.
But it still stalls under high load condition. When I switched back to my old D-Link Wireless G router, it performed good in the same load condition. This router is not approprite for P2P application.

If you have a large home and need a router that will extend your wireless range at 54mbs in every room, purchase this router. The WRT54GX2 is a great router. If you have the Westel wireless modem provided by Verizon and want to hook the WRT54GX2 router to the Westel modem, call Linksys tech support before you even get started. You will most likely need their support to help you re-set your IP address. This router does everything that Linksys claims is does!
