When I was in high school, and that was many years ago, I clearly remember our literature teacher having problems with classifying this book to any genre. We had to read it, and most of the classmates grumbled. Yet, most of the classmates were girls, I should mention, and they were infatuated with a book called `Cry, The beloved country’. So we were kind of divided, we, the boys, preferred Holden, even though we found him harsh to read, never to admit it, because we just did not want to discuss the book which the girls liked. Anyway, I still do not think that `The Catcher in the Rye’ belongs to any kind of literature that deserves to be taught in high schools, because this book is disturbingly one of a kind. Nevertheless, after all these years I read it again, and I have discovered that it does have a genre, perhaps not an acceptable one, but it does belong to a certain category. I would put it under the category of `Revolutions’. At first the reader is kind of recoiled by the persistent complaints exclaimed by the hero. Today, I could compare it to a diary of any ordinary self absorbed profoundly disturbed Scandinavian urchin. But Holden, despite of being the most antagonizing protagonist I have ever read about, is not the seemingly anarchist type. Despite his anarchistic tendencies, Holden is a rebel with a dream; a vision even. Unlike the ordinary post traumatic stress disordered and self absorbed Scandinavian urchin one may confuse him with, Holden is actually dreaming about saving the world. The children that he wanted to catch and save from death in the rye field are the children of the future. Salinger, through Holden is the real dreamer; Aye, Salinger the author is clearly the real rebel, and it does not surprise me it was such a success in the sixties and seventies. The spirit of revolutions blew in the air then, and some of the warnings Holden talk about is of the dangers of becoming corrupt. I believe that if Salinger tried to publish this book today, it

Last time I purchased Microsoft Office, Outlook was part of the package. I was very disappointed that it no longer comes with the office package. I waited a month to receive the software. I had to get in touch with the people that were suppose to send it two or three times before they sent the product. It is definately not worth the purchase price.

Of all the items I’ve bought from Amazon, this is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review on a product. However, the Garmin Forerunner 305 is awesome. I ordered it on a Monday, received it on Wednesday (thanks to the distribution warehouse being less than 100 miles from where I live). Initially, it looks intimidating but it really is fairly easy to figure out once you get a few minutes of time with it. The GPS function picks up satellites even inside my house, which is something that both of my vehicle GPS units cannot seem to do. It never seems to have an issue with drop outs while running. The ability to record data such as heart rate, distance, speed, pace really do add a lot to running and my workouts. Better yet, the Garmin training center software logs all your runs so that you have an easy to access record of your progress. For the price, this is an awesome piece of technology!

I believe most of us have heard “beware of false prophets” and how Satan entices men to mix the truth with lies so that we believe the false beliefs of man. In this book we are certainly coaxed to believe in the IDEAS OF MAN. It is said that in the days to come “We will be led to believe that that which is evil is good, and that which is good, evil.” Well, those days are here and evident in this book. Mr. Donald even said in his interview with Larry King that he admitted that it definitely may have been his own subconscious mind “hearing” God and not the voice of God at all.

This is such a good deal compared to what you can find locally, the carpet cleaner works great and does an awesome job of sucking up the dirty water. After I was done cleaning a room it was almost dry to the touch and looked so much better. I’m very happy I bought this model and have no trouble filling up the tank and emptying it out. A great buy!

On a side note I fill the tank up and use this as a spot cleaner for when the dog doesn’t make it to the door and it works great even without the water being hot, I’m impressed.

This is the Fort Knox of iPhone cases, but there are a couple of issues

(minor) The rubbery outer wrap, picks up any lint or pet hair that may be around thereby eliminating the iPhone’s sleek appearance
(inconvenient) The ring/vibrate switch is slightly blocked, so you have to use the fingernail on your pinky to get it.
(why I’m switching) If you have the iPhone to Component video cable, the cable it too fat to plug in with the case on, and the case is a major deal to remove every time I want to watch a video directly from my iPhone to TV.

I love this scale since it’s the best one i ever had…But the only thing that always annoys me is the fact that every time i go in the bathroom to weigh myself “tapping” it or even placing myself on it doesn’t make it come on! I have to lift it up then sit it back down only then it comes on and i step on it…Other then that it does read accurately every time and might i say looks very good in my bathroom =)
