As a computer geek, home theater enthusiast, video game junkie, and musician with a home recording studio, I have far too many things to plug in and waaaay too few electrical outlets to meet my needs. Enter power strips. I’ve got several of your standard 5-outlet power strips/surge protectors around the house. There are two of them behind my home theater and the mess back there almost brings me to tears.

Like the other fellow who reviewed this product, I too am putting the cheap extension cords to use for those irritating wall warts that take up 2 or more spaces on your conventional power strips. Behind my computers are more conventional power strips and big messes of cords. But for my recording studio, I have cleaned up and simplified things with the Tripp-Lite 10-outlet surge suppressor.

I should break down and get about a few more of them because I am thrilled with the design of this thing. 10 outlets! And half of them are spaced apart from the others so that the wall warts will fit on there without encroaching upon any of the other outlets. Awesome. I have it mounted to my wall and while there’s still a stinking mess of wires back there, at least I can get to them and behold: there are even 2 empty slots.

I’m not using the telephone cord surge protection feature, but I don’t see that as a reason to penalize with less stars like some other character did in his review. So you don’t want to plug your phone into this thing, don’t plug in your phone.

The layout of this power strip and having a whopping 10 outlets is the bomb. As I type this review I look over at the thing and it makes me happy. I’m ordering a couple more right now.

I love how slim this is & that the clip is very easy to remove so I can fit the pedometer im my pocket or purse & it still keeps track of my steps. Love the 7 day memory so I can see how I have done & it keeps me on track.

My wife and I are about ready to have a baby, so we thought it would be a good idea to make sure our carpets are very clean. We considered renting a machine for a day or weekend, but then realized what a hassle it would be to try and do the whole house at once! So, we decided to get this machine. We just used it this weekend on the baby’s room, and it is fantastic! It was easy to set up and get going, but most importantly it got our carpets very clean.

Of course, it did not make the carpet look like new, but no cleaner will. We vacuumed our carpet very well, several times with a very good vacuum cleaner before using this. After using this, the water was very very dark brown. It’s amazing what this thing gets up, and I didn’t even think our carpet was very dirty.

Not only did this machine get the carpets clean, it left them NEARLY dry. We ran a dehumidifier in the room, and a fan to keep the air moving. After an hour or so, the carpet was completely dry. We waited until the next day before putting furniture on it (just to be sure).

Perhaps most importantly, this machine was EASY to use, and even easier to clean up. Basically I just rinsed out the tanks real well like it said and let everything dry well.

Bottom line, if you’re thinking about getting a carpet cleaner, this one is a great one. It’s very powerful, but not bulky at all. It’s easy to use and clean. The power brushes do a great job “agitating” the carpet fibers and loosening up dirt. I think this is a great buy for the money. I can’t imagine a unit that’s say…$100 more….doing much better. If you’re thinking of getting one, get this one…you won’t be disappointed.

Like everyone else’s review… This product is stylish (although somehow a nicer LED display would be nice) and most importantly, very accurate (and on top of it, a good price). I got this scale for health reasons as I am using this to better monitor my weight. It really didn’t do much good when I had no confidence if my weight varied +/- 3 pounds on my current scale. OK, perhaps not that wide of a range, but based on my new approach, I need to weigh myself every day, which motivates me to exercise as I should and to watch what I eat. Having an accurate scale like this is important to this approach to be able to see progress for every 0.2 pounds.

I don’t know why I was so hesitant to buy a Kindle. But, I can tell you now that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Kindle. It goes everwhere with me. My only complaint is that I didn’t buy one sooner.
