KitchenAid BLUE Spoon Silicone problem!
I just redeployed and I wish I had bought a Kindle a long time ago. The battery life is outstanding, and for someone like me who reads quickly, it is a real space and weight saver to keep a collection of books on the Kindle instead of carting loads of paper all over the world.
Under normal use, I only have to charge the Kindle about every three weeks; the worst it ever did on power was needing a recharge after 4 days of near constant use on long flights and waiting in various airports and flight lines.
I would recommend this for anyone. My only complaint is that there are no “bundles” for e-books like amazon does with hardcopy editions, and a lot of the e-books are priced too high considering it is a glorified pdf; the Kindle books should be cheaper than the hardcopy versions.

This is a great pedometer for those striving to increase their exercise routine as it gives not only steps and distance but also aerobic steps and calories burned(always too few). It has a seven day memory so you can review your efforts. My favorite feature is that you can carry it in your pocket(it comes with a clip so it won’t fall out of your pocket or purse).

We purchased this vacuum with high hopes given the reviews here, but quickly ran into a huge problem: the vacuum pulls “fuzzies” out of our carpet like nobody’s business. Even with it set to be as high off the ground as possible, a sweep of the whole house yielded hundreds of carpet fuzzies laying about all over the place. Worse, the vacuum was literally *jam packed* with carpet fiber – the intake, hose, everything.
It took about an hour to clean the whole thing out. (It really was incredible how much was stuck in there. It was completely unusable.) I was left with a shoe box sized box full of packed carpet fiber to throw out, as well as all the fuzzies strewn about to pick up.
My theory is that the roller is simply too close to the ground, even on the high setting. I don’t think it’s our carpets, which are of the typical new house short, textured plush variety. Nothing old or shaggy or anything.
I fixed this issue by disassembling the intake cover and putting a washer underneath each screw channel. This pushed the base of the intake further out, thus decreasing the protrusion of the brushes. After this modification, all seems to be well. The added bonus is that the vacuum doesn’t leave such noticeable lines in the carpet.
Upon close examination of my mother’s $400 vacuum cleaner (I don’t recall the brand) I noted that on the high setting the roller is completely disabled. Perhaps Hoover makes up for poor suction power by heavy reliance on the roller. Whatever the reason, I’m afraid I would not purchase this unit again.

I had low expectations with this inexpensive vacuum but I purchased it due to the low price, free shipping and the great Amazon reviews. We have had it for a year and it works much better than my old vacuum from Sears that cost $250. I tried a Dyson at one point but it was so bulky, difficult to clean my car with and expensive that I returned it to Sears. That was a total waste of money. This vacuum is relatively light and has great sucking power and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It is totally sufficent and it costs what a vacuum should cost.

While in town, he again saves her life from rapists this time, and confirms her theory. After a few more cryptic conversations, she agrees to hang out with him that weekend. So they hang out in a meadow and discuss their feelings all day before going back to her house. he stays over (nothing happens) and the next day he decides to take her to meet his family. So they go and while Bella is watching them play baseball, 3 strange vampires show up. they want to eat Bella. One is an extremely skilled tracker and he’ll stop at nothing to eat Bella, so she goes into hiding with 2 of Edward’s “siblings” Alice and her life partner Jasper. they stay in Arizona for a few days before the tracker tricks Bella and captures her, then tortures her a bit and is about to kill her when the Cullens show up and kill him. He bit Bella’s hand and she could turn into a vampire, but Edward doesn’t want her to, so he sucks out the venom and takes her to the prom (after she got out of the hospital) Then she tells him she wants to be a vampire, he says no, they agree to disagree, the end. unfortunately there’s more books after this one.
