I think the twilight saga has an incredible storyline to it, and has many parts to it that are unique. A lot of people criticize parts of the books (e.g. some of the features), but I think that the fact is that they don’t like some of the small change Stephenie Meyer has made to vampires, so they critize it because it isn’t the same.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks. I liked it so much that I ordered a second, despite its downfall.

My old setup was a pci Wireless nic, a 500 db wifi amplifier, and a 7dbi antenna. Total cost to complete – $120

This completely replaces that setup in most regards, and even out performs it with signal strength and distance. It also supports Wireless N which my old setup did not.

The downfall… After about 8 hours of non-stop usuage, it drops connection, and will not reconnect until you force it via software. It does this every 8 hours nearly to the minute. Makes it fairly useless on a server.

My old setup works for months on end without any interference required (wireless server), but doesn’t have the strength that this offers.

I ended up setting this up on my server as a primary connection, with an auto-failover to my old setup.

If you are buying this as ‘cool toy’ by all means go for it. If you are looking for something rock-solid and reliable… I hate to say it, but go with a pci card version, seperate booster, seperate antenna, and then go buy this as a toy.

I was shocked at the amount of fur this pulled off of our St Bernard/Wolf mix. He has a very thick coat that seems unending – normal brushes do very little.

The demonstration videos of the Furminator are not an exaggeration; it works exactly like they say it does. I made the joke that the item comes with a free Pomeranian because the (compressed) ball of fur we end up with each time is the size of a small dog.

I don’t know yet how often the head needs to be replaced to maintain optimum functionality but we have used it about 10 times now and it still works perfectly.

Others also mentioned that their dogs seem to enjoy the feeling of this product – almost like scratching them with your fingers. Our dog was a little unsure about it when we started but he promptly fell asleep while we brushed him. I thought the product might pull on the hair too much but it seems to just slide right through with almost no resistance; you just have to watch out for matted spots of fur.

If you have a dog who is shy of brushes just walk to him/her without using excitement and set it on the floor for the dog to sniff then gradually start brushing.

If you have a thick-coated pup this will be a great help for maintaining the amount of fur left around the house. Also, if you live in a hot-weather climate with a thick-coated dog this does a good job of removing the undercoat to help keep him/her cool.

I bought this product today because I was going crazy trying to clean vomit off of our carpeted stairs. (I know, it’s disgusting.) I was having a lot of problems getting any cleaning solution to do the job. I was a little skeptical that this machine could get out the odor and clean up the discoloration; but it really worked and I was very impressed. Like most of the reviewers, I feel that you absolutely need to read the manual before using it. It needs so much more care than a regular vacuum cleaner. But, the set up was a breeze and the instructions are very easy to follow. After seeing the results, I want to use it to clean the entire house!! The hardest part will be getting my husband to move the furniture!

The Forerunner 305 has lived up to expectations, based on my first few weeks of experience. I use it for jogging/walking and it appears consistent and accurate based on about 10 outings of 6 mile length.

Positives: Light weight, easy to read, much flexibility on output displays, docks and synchronizes seemlessly with the Garmin Training Center software, works as advertised. I particularly like to display current pace as well as average pace.

Negatives (but none are serious): Takes 30 to 45 seconds to find satellites. I have a short attention span and tend to get impatient waiting for it to lock onto the satellites.

Tip: I occasionally record a false start by accident, then stop the run after say 5 or 10 seconds. Unfortunately, this “run” is recorded on the GPS. After uploading the data to the Garmin Training Center, I deleted the bogus run from the uploaded records. But every time I dock/sync, the short run was restored to the training record. The solution is to upload data, delete the unwanted record, clear the GPS memory, then send the remaining good records from the Training Center back to the GPS device. Said another way, I couldn’t find a way to delete a record directly from the GPS, but the workaround accomplishes the same thing.
