I only bought this for MS Word 2007, which works worse than the MS Word 2000 I already have. MS Word 2007 messed up all tables I had put in 2000 documents; I could not copy playlists from iTunes into a document (very easy w. 2000); several of the commands had changed unnecesarily; etc. However, 2000 often give message “… has encountered a problem and must shut down …” This only happened in 2007 upon trying to copy the iTunes playlist.
My next computer is likely to be Mac & I intend to stear clear of MS products whenever possible.

Love this scale! It is very accurate. I tested it out by weighing just myself, then weighed myself holding different objects, then went back to just myself…….every time I went back to just myself it weighed the same. I am very happy with my purchase!

Ok – it’s an order of magnitude better than the shipping cover that comes on a lense. It’s strong, would like to see a small rubber seal at the end to ensure dust stays out for extended periods of storing a lense.

I sort of liked the idea for this book, but it certainly wasn’t riveting. The characters are one-dimensional, the plots are missing key pieces and it also ended rather abruptly and I felt like I didn’t have as much closure as I might have liked.

Overall, I would have to say this lens does what it is supposed to do. It is an excellent general purpose zoom, with the added benefit of VR. Just to make things clear, I am not the type of person who compares the minute details of lenses; but I do notice the differences between them. After using this lens and selling it to purchase the nikon 17-55mm f/2.8, I have noticed a few differences between them. Obviously, build quality is no competition, with the 17-55 easily winning (feels like one solid machined block!) There is one thing that I definitely miss from the 18-105mm though–VR! Yes, over the course of time that I had the 17-55mm, I learned to love VR, and trust me–you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone, especially in the case of VR. VR aside, however, the 17-55 has the benefit of a constant aperture, along with better contrast and color in my opinion. then again, it costs three times what the 18-105 does (I bought mine off of craigslist for $900–don’t pay $1220 new, that is a ripoff. if you’re going to pay that much get the new 24-70mm.) For what it is supposed to do, however, the 18-105mm does just fine.

I think this case is incredible. It’s perfect for the outdoor work that I do and occasionally dropping my phone (which happens more frequently that I’d like to admit). It also gets a lot of compliments for it good looks. I definitely recommend this case. I also bought the Otterbox Commuter for me wife and she loves it.OtterBox Defender Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Yellow/Black)
