I purchased this card to use with the new Panasonic ZS7 camera. As this is a Class 6 card, it supports every function of that camera including mjpeg movie format which requires a card of this speed. I buy Transcend cards exclusively and have never had a problem with any I have purchased. They make excellent products.

as far as cables go.. it does everything that it needs to.. definitely a good buy especially compare to similar length cables that i have seen in stores from $36 to $60 for the same *performance.. (*)based on a home usage.. as far as other cables with extra shield or 24k gold plated .. unless you plan to watch TV on the middle of the salty ocean or underneath a power station terminal high voltage lines.. there’s absolutely no reason for you to look any further.. I used to use those cheap pedometers that were handed at health fairs. They were way off b/c they were too sensitive and did not have any memory. The Omron HJ-112 is very easy to use. It has a little booklet to help you put in your weight, stride and the time. I can see up to 7 days worth of steps, aerobic steps, kcals, and miles walked. My goal is 10,000 steps (5 miles)/day, so I just clip it on along with the safety strap and proceed through my day. If you want to download your steps on a PC, you can always get Omron HJ-720ITC for $10 more. But I like the Omron HJ-112 b/c it’s user friendly and so easy to use.

The first unit I received had an issue with the brushes not spinning. I checked everything out the manual said to (verified strong suction, clean filters, etc.) but no dice. Fortunately, Amazon makes exchanges painless and doesn’t stick you with the return shipping charge which would have been hefty on this item.

The replacement unit arrived a few days later. I put it together, turned it on, and hooray this time the brushes were spinning! Then we tried actually using it and found barely any cleaning solution was coming out. If I took off the handle and pushed the lever on the main unit in manually, fluid came out just fine so there seemed to be something wrong with the button on the handle. The rod that operates the lever to release the cleaning fluid worked fine when I operated the button, but as soon as I put any pressure onto the rod it would push back up into the handle. Since it takes a fair amount of pressure to get fluid flowing, this was the problem. Fortunately, this was a pretty easy DIY fix by opening up the handle and shoring up the other end of the rod with some duct tape.

At this point, I finally had a fully functioning unit. It does a great job picking up old stains and the carpet felt nice and soft afterward. The brushes do a good job and make plenty of contact with the carpet. The method suggested in the manual of doing a wet stroke back, a wet stroke forward, and then two dry stores back and forwards works well but chews up the fluid quickly. I found just keeping it simple and doing a wet stroke back and then a dry stroke forward worked equally well in most cases and lets your fluid last twice as long.

One minor issue I’ve found is that, even if you fill the clean water tank exactly to the “fill” line, the dirty water tank shutoff still activates when you still have a cup or so of fluid in the clean water tank. This isn’t a big deal but does mean you have to make two trips to empty the dirty water container to completely use up yo

If your thinking about purchasing this item, stop thinking about it and just get one. It work’s perfectly. I’ve loaned it to friend’s who immediately turned around and got their own. MY first “test” was my daughter doing a hard, quick u-turn within minutes of attaching my GPS. The GPS didn’t move an inch! I love this thing!
