Nikon 105mm 18 f for good

Overall, I would have to say this lens does what it is supposed to do. It is an excellent general purpose zoom, with the added benefit of VR. Just to make things clear, I am not the type of person who compares the minute details of lenses; but I do notice the differences between them. After using this lens and selling it to purchase the nikon 17-55mm f/2.8, I have noticed a few differences between them. Obviously, build quality is no competition, with the 17-55 easily winning (feels like one solid machined block!) There is one thing that I definitely miss from the 18-105mm though–VR! Yes, over the course of time that I had the 17-55mm, I learned to love VR, and trust me–you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone, especially in the case of VR. VR aside, however, the 17-55 has the benefit of a constant aperture, along with better contrast and color in my opinion. then again, it costs three times what the 18-105 does (I bought mine off of craigslist for $900–don’t pay $1220 new, that is a ripoff. if you’re going to pay that much get the new 24-70mm.) For what it is supposed to do, however, the 18-105mm does just fine.

I found the book a little hard to get into at first, but once it got going I couldn’t put it down. I found myself wondering what was going to happen next. I have a newborn and I put myself through a huge lack of sleep by staying up one night to finish it. I highly recommend reading it, and if you find yourself having a hard time after the first 1/4, please continue. You’ll be surprised by where the book takes you.

Accurate, easy to use. Love the feature that it resets to 0 at midnight automatically. But you must use the extra tether clip! The large belt clip seems secure but it is not. I lost my first Omron in 4 days!

The book was great. Not quite as captivating as some I’ve read, but a good read for sure. I like that it didn’t give me nightmares, and that it didn’t get into too much detail about the more gory aspects of being a black person in the south during the civil rights movement (ie, torturous killings, rape, etc). I have a strong love/hate relationship with books that are real and honest, but usually I’m very disturbed and have trouble maintaining faith in the human race. This was a good balance. It took forever just to ship though and I didn’t get it until a day before my book club meeting even though I had ordered it weeks before, which was annoying.

Have a small apartment with hardwood floors. Was looking for a vacuum that I could rely on, and found this one with such great stats. The machine will definitely pull you along. It has great suction power. Wish there was more flexibility with the tube. Otherwise an excellent purchase for the price.

I love this scale since it’s the best one i ever had…But the only thing that always annoys me is the fact that every time i go in the bathroom to weigh myself “tapping” it or even placing myself on it doesn’t make it come on! I have to lift it up then sit it back down only then it comes on and i step on it…Other then that it does read accurately every time and might i say looks very good in my bathroom =)

Great deal, great product. I do wish it still had Outlook. I didn’t use it for email, but I did use it for my address book and mail merge. I haven’t found a good alternative.
