I just finished reading Catcher in the Rye and I did not care for it at all. Wanted to read it because of the publicity, but maybe because I am a grandmother, I just didn’t like it. I just finished Dream Catcher by J. D. Salinger’s daughter, a book I greatly enjoyed and think his daughter is a remarkable individual. However, the book seemed extremely juvenile to me. Most of the content was given to sex and I can see where young boys and perhaps girls would enjoy it. Not something I would have ever cared for but it had a lot of unnecessary profanity. It speaks to me of a young man who was mentally ill, I am sure that a label could be put on it today. I am not so sure it was not actually describing Salinger himself. After reading his daughter’s book, I think Salinger definitely had mental illness, what I would call crazy. His family had to endure awful things because of him. He chose to be a recluse, and did not live in the real world, wanted to live in isolation.

I have to say that I’m rarely annoyed by stories. This was one annoying book. I hate when characters fall in love too quickly for no reason. I hate both main characters. Bella is annoying. Edward is creepy. The end.

Wonderful product. The only problem I have with it, is that it doesn’t compute the amount walked in one week.It only lists for a daily total, but won’t total all 7 days. My work is doing an exercise program to see who walks the most in one week and I have to manually total the week. This is not a problem for most people, but of course, I have to be different. This product does a great job of keeping track of your steps.

This tool is the best. I’ve never brushed so much hair from our pets. Works amazingly well. Definitely notice less hair around the house.

This is a great iPod! It has a ton of really cool features including weather, safari, calculator, youtube,and other sweet apps. I am looking into getting a texting app. Of course I can access iTunes and the app store right from my iPod. I have a few complaints, but they aren’t huge problems. One of them is that the battery life isn’t super long (if you have the brightness jacked up all the way, it kills the battery). Another complaint from me is that the back of the touch scratches VERY easily (I don’t know about the screen because I bought screen protectors with the touch). One last minor problem is that you can’t use most apps in a non-wi-fi zone (car). Otherwise, the sound is great, the video is great, almost everything is great!

Though I don’t remember the exact wording, this book was advertised as being in “good” condition. Though the cover was fine, the book itself looked like it had been dipped in water. The pages were swollen and some were stuck together. Luckily, I only needed the cover (to replace the one my dog chewed up on a borrowed copy of this book. But this book was definitely overpriced for the condition it was in!
