I had a beautiful contemporary scale that would give me a different reading every time I stepped on it. The EatSmart scale is good looking (although I’d still prefer a bit more glass and less metal) but it is very accurate and consistent, which is really the basic purpose for having a scale. I am pleased with it. The only problem I experienced was with the 4 AA batteries that came with the scale. They failed to work. The company offered to reimburse me for buying new ones which was a nice gesture on their part, even though I didn’t take them up on it. The new batteries were only a couple of dollars and the scale works well. I highly recommend it.

This scale is good looking and extremely functional. It is the only scale that I have tried that I get a consistent and accurate weight. The best part is that it is easy to read.

It’s amazing to me the garbage you can put in a book and people come along like lemmings and buy it. Amazing. I really need to write a book of my own.

The author is a liberal nut. He may also be a genius to make so much money off of such ridiculous jibber-jabber.

If you really want to have a “conversation with God”, just pick up a bible somewhere and read it. You probably already have a bible in your house so you won’t even have to buy anything.

If you want a fictional and entertaining “conversation with God”, rent the movie “Oh God” and enjoy the entertainment.

Such a popular,famous or infamous little book depending on your view.Salinger’s masterpiece and highly guarded work.A contributing factor in John Lennons’murder maybe,maybe not.Also associated with the Reagan assassination attempt.Why is this I wonder?”The best book ever written in the English language” quoted the salesgirl as I purchased it for my daughter for her high school reading assignment.She said it with such conviction,I think both of us were stunned.I said nothing,just smiled,you know, that smile that conveys “yeah,I know what you mean”,too embarrassed to admit,”no kidding,never read it myself”.Well read it I did,finally.A book I should have read decades ago. It wasn’t required reading in my high school but I think I know why after reading it.It was a fun,fast read and kinda cool following Holden around.Seeing his anguish and disdain for those around him and the institutions he is forced to live within.Highly troubled yes,but you get the sense that he’ll be OK in the end.His period of adjustment from a youth to a young man can be seen in his attitude,his choices and his need to be different.Love pangs,sexual urges,smoking,drinking all the rights of passage are explored through Holdens’eyes.It is kind of a warped,more psychiatric version of Ferris Beuller only a fifties version with less phone use,no texting,E-mails, computer use or outside influence from rappers,TV or other idiotic distractions teenagers are bombarded with today.Just pure emotional dilemma which must be resolved from within. I must say I enjoyed it very much,could not put it down for long with each chapter an adventure.What will Holden do now?How is this kid going to handle this one?etc.The sweet portrait it paints is probably wasted on todays youth whom I fear just won’t get it.As a reader in my late forties,I could.Rediscovering ‘Catcher In The Rye’ was refreshing and diversionary. Just enough to take me away and escape to Manhattan for a few days.To be the companion of Holden Caulfield

My newborn has a voracious appetite, and would suck so hard that she would end up coughing and gagging at every feeding! It got to the point that I was nervous every time I fed her! Then I realized that she only did that with the Medela nipples (I had bought both the Medela nipples, which I had placed on Evenflo glass bottles, as well as the BornFree bottles in order to have several options). As soon as I went back to the BornFree bottles, even though she continued to suck hard, she no longer coughed and gagged!! SO IF YOUR BABY COUGHS AND GAGS WITH FEEDINGS, GET THESE! YOU WON’T BE SORRY!
Also, regarding the review that stated that the bottles “morphed into blobs”, she MUST have been doing SOMETHING wrong as far as the microwave sterilization is concerned (?maybe not adding water), because that definitely does NOT happen! (Best bet is to use the Born Free microwave sterilizer.) Also, as far as customer service, I also had a good experience – I had e-mailed them requesting instructions for the sterilizer, and received a very quick response!
Overall, an EXCELLENT product, WELL WORTH THE $$$!

Great product overall. Highly recommend. Purchasing the more expensive watches is not necessary. Forerunner 205 and 305 are excellent. I have experienced two minor issues. 1) Occassionally satelite finder is delayed and slow. When it occurs–Resolve by powering down watch and restart. 2) Rubber wrist strap is a little uncomfortable..may look into a replacement. Garmin Connect service online is a great tool also–Access anywhere following upload of activities on the web. thanks for the great price Amazon…
Every Word A Rainbow

So here it goes. I was very excited about getting an ipod and decided to get the newest one and enjoy all that comes with it. All the apps and internet. Either I was extremely unlucky to receive a defective ipod touch or most ipods have this problem and people are not speaking up yet.
I will not talk about the nice things it has, because it is in general a very nice toy. The apps and the safari and the itunes, yes it is very handy to carry with you. Or even in the mornings, if you are too lazy to get up, you can check your emails in bed and make sure your boss did not send you an emergency message and so on so forth.

But, I didn’t get to experience all this for so long with my ipod touch. All of a sudden when I am playing a game or checking my emails, the screen goes white and it does not come back. I restored it 2 times, the 3rd time it does not work anymore. I didn’t even download a ton of apps yet, 8 or 9 may be. And just used it to check my emails. That’s it. So now, I am all disappointed and decided to return it. I am hoping for a full refund for this defective IPOD TOUCH. I had such confidence in Amazon and Apple that I even threw away the box and papers it came with. Thank God I didn’t throw away the original box.

Anyways, I will update my review, if and when I receive my refund.

So yes, watch out and keep all the packaging and make sure you do not run into any problems. Because when it happened the first time, I thought “oh it is ok, obviously it happened to other people as well, I just need to restore it” but, restoring only takes you so far. When it happens to you, just return it.
